World War II Memorial

Each year Past-President Bob Blower organizes a special event to commemorate Memorial Day at Weber Point in Stockton at the WWII Memorial he was responsible for creating during his Rotary presidency.

The World War II Memorial is a great tribute to those of the “Greatest Generation” who served so faithfully and courageously during 1941-45. Sadly, the Memorial was erected more than a half century following the armistice. Many of the veterans honored there did not see it in their lifetime.
