  • Call to Order and Welcome! President Walt calls the meeting to order

    Welcome to Stockton Rotary, a place where good people meet to do really good things for their neighbors both here and around the world and we have fun doing it!!!! RI president Gordon McInally urges us to Create Hope in the World and we are going to Reach Out to Stockton to create hope locally as well

Club Announcements

  • District 5220 Foundation Dinner at the Double Tree Inn in Modesto was successful with District Governor Waqar Rizvi presiding
  • Polio Plus Update, less than 10 wild polio cases in the world this year to date
  • Sharon Tweedy updated us on the fundraising for the arts program at Spanos Elementary School
  • Belle’s Book Drive and check, for $330, to SCT for AVID students and Fillmore School students to attend Beauty and the Beast.
  • Kevin Kauffmen updated us about bell ringing for the Salvation Army
  • All Stockton Thanksgiving Luncheon coming up on Nov. 21st, here at SG&CC. Cost is the same as last year, $40 per person. Look to sign up online or at the check in desk. This is the 50th anniversary of this luncheon. The speaker will be a former Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship recipient and Stagg High School graduate, Jeanne Hatfield. Dress is the same as our regular meetings. We will be collecting food for the Student Food Pantry at Delta College.
  • Christmas Party December 6th at the home of Fred and Ida Wiebel, save the date

  • PP Gary Frush missed the Fall Follies due to a trip to Europe and donated $250
  • Ken Steele donated a bell ringer to TRF for his birthday, a new grandson, and a GT victory
  • Tom Patti celebrated his birthday and donated a bell ringer to TRF
  • Dudley Drake is celebrating his birthday today and donated $500 to the club fund and $1000 to TRF
