Chris is the CEO of an organization founded by a single mother of two, named Gina Valadez-Bracamonte who worked two jobs, but 30 years ago still found herself short funds by end of month. She figured she wasn’t alone, so she began giving out groceries to those in need by getting them donated to her and she did this at her church. This has turned into an organization that serves thousands at different locations all over town.

Next Meeting:  September 21st, 2022

Stockton History by Mary Elizabeth Eberhardt

Mary Elizabeth Eberhardt. Hailing from the esteemed Eberhardt family, Mary Elizabeth currently serves as the vice president, director of community banking, overseeing the retail division of the Bank of Stockton’s 20-branch network. She works alongside her cousin, Douglass Eberhardt II, who is the ninth president of the bank, now in its 154th year of business. Other family members working at the bank include her sister, a nephew and her son. The Eberhardt family’s ties to the Bank of Stockton are deep and wide, spanning generations, with her grandfather, father and uncle all serving as presidents in the past

No stranger to hard work and responsibility, Mary Elizabeth immerses herself in the community at many levels outside of her role at the bank. In addition to serving on multiple boards for various organizations and being a regent at the University of the Pacific, Mary Elizabeth is also a founding member of the Children’s Museum of Stockton; has served on the board of directors for the San Joaquin County Partnership and for the Deuel Vocational Institution. The best thing about being involved in so many areas is the joy that Mary Elizabeth, in true Eberhardt fashion, spreads with her presence alone. She continues to demonstrate that the power of a community comes from the acts of kindness and compassion from its citizens. “I just love this community,” she smiled
