President-Elect Kevin Kauffman – The Water Group
Kevin is a registered professional engineer in California. In December 2019 began representing the Water Group LLC in Ripon. TWG distributes and installs Parjana EGRP devices throughout CA, NV, and AZ. Kevin talked about Water Group LLC and how they help in preserving water in California. The ground water basin has been diminishing. Instead of building reservoir, he has focused on building ground water basin. He explained the Energy Pacific Groundwater Recharge Project (EGRP) and how it works by drying up the surface and helps the water drain into the layers below.
Lonny Davis is the owner and operator of Davis Guest Home, serving the chronically mentally ill from throughout Northern California. His passion however, extends to serving the disabled poor in the developing world by providing dignity through mobility.
Lonny began participating in wheelchair distributions approximately 20 years ago. As his love of the work grew, he partnered with Hope Haven International and began coordinating distributions from Modesto. Three years ago, Hope Haven West was incorporated, allowing full operations here on the West coast.
After many years of focusing his service internationally, Lonny started a new venture: Uncle Lonny Presents, a tax-exempt promotion company, dedicated providing local musicians opportunities to perform, and creating and promoting events for local charities to raise needed funds.
