“Children’s Christmas Program“
The many children, from the Gospel Rescue Mission, the Child Abuse Prevention Center and the Stockton Shelter for the Homeless, were thrilled to see Santa Claus burst into the meeting with a big HO! HO! HO! Santa presented each child with a Christmas stocking stuffed with toys and goodies along with a Teddy Bear.
Also on hand were clowns Sparkles and Ravioli who delighted the children with face painting, balloon animals, and a magic show. A special puppet show presented by Gail Litz with son Jordan and daughter Megan enthralled the kids and ended with a Christmas Carol sing along.
Rounding out this holiday cast of characters was Sparky the Firehouse Dog and Rotary Man spreading good cheer. Charlynn Harless, who organizes this event every year, gave heartfelt thanks to the many people behind the scenes who made this year s Rotary Children s Holiday Special such a success.
