PolioPlus Event – Rotary will be in the center court of the Weberstown Mall Jan. 8th-10th. We have three days to raise $5000 for PolioPlus. We will have brochures, pins, posters, maybe Motorcycle Bob and his bike and a slick video that will be on continuous play. The event will be staffed by Rotarians and Interactors and hopefully polio survivors to tell their stories. We are hoping to have short presentations on the challenges of polio and a question and answer time. We are aware that most people under a certain age are not aware that polio exists or that it was a real threat here in America not that many years ago. Contact Scott McElhinnie for more information and to volunteer to help. mcelhinnie@sbcglobal.net
