Pres. Michael and Gary Hansen were the first to cash in. Pres. Michael took a classy looking shirt and Gary lifted a bottle of wine.

Speaker…

Robert Dugoni – Author

“Career Change, Attorney to Author”

Robert informed us that he is a product of a Rotary Scholarship and expressed his gratitude to Rotary.

He thanked Barnes and Nobles for making his books available after the meeting which he signed and donated a portion of the sales price to The Library and Literacy Fund in the Stockton Rotary Endowment.

Since I am a story teller, I want to tell you my story. His story, described in chapter form, the stages of his life. One morning his feet hit the cold bedroom floor jarring him into the realization, I don t want to do this anymore!

His wife supported the career change and a move to Seattle followed by years in an eight by eight windowless office where he began his career as an author.

The result has been several successful books and a new life as a noted author.

His concluding advice was, Pursue your passion! Follow your dreams and the money will follow; follow the money and your dreams will die.

Robert Dugoni was introduced by Bill Gass.
