Next Week’s Program – May 6, 2009

Banking in This Economy William Trezza, CEO, Bank of Agriculture and Commerce.

The following is an excerpt from a speech Mr. Trezza gave recently.

“I think the most profound changes in banking during the last 25 years have been in technology and bank regulatory issues. Technology has radically changed how we operate internally as well as how our customers access the bank. For us, technology has made our operations more efficient and enabled us to compete toe to toe with the major banks. For our customers, technology has also made their operations more efficient while providing them with access to the bank 24/7 via cash management services and Internet banking products.

Back then you had to bring your deposits to the bank. Now you can make deposits electronically right from your office. Going forward we will continue to embrace technologies that improve our ability to serve our customers.” To read the complete speech please click here.
